Bystronic: Laser Cutting At “Warp Speed”

Bystronic over at Hall 12, Booth B66, has been setting the pace on Day 1 of EuroBLECH as it greets more visitors and customers from around the world. The draw? The launch of its enhanced ByStar Fiber Laser with a 10 kW laser source and the introduction of its fully automated Production Cell for cutting and banding.

Bystronic enhances the ByStar Fiber Laser with a new 10 kW laser that is capable of accelerating the cutting process immensely.

The machine allow users to process material from 0.8 to 12 mm thickness approximately four times faster. Even in higher sheet thickness of up to 30 mm, it does not pose any problems.

With the Production Cell launch, Bystronic is now offering a fully-automated solution for the cutting and bending of sheet metal products. With this solution, the company is able to integrate laser cutting, material handling, sorting, bending, process monitoring, and MES concepts into a networked production environment.

It’s a first for Bystronic as it takes on a total comprehensive automation solution. Due to its modular design, the Production Cell is highly compact and versatile plus, it can be easily integrated into a various manufacturing environments.
