Ditzingen, Germany: Trumpf is building a 5,000-sq m demonstration factory in Chicago, US, designed around Industry 4.0 solutions.
It is slated to open to open in mid-2017. The digitally connected production plant will demonstrate the interaction of people, machines, storage equipment, and automation sof tware, and will showcase the entire sheet metal process. The process will be intelligently linked via Trumpf’s TruConnect modules, its Industry 4.0 units.
