3D Printlife has launched the Enviro ABS, the company’s first 3D printer Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) filament line, which is also biodegradable.

Gaining more popularity than ever, 3D printing is rapidly being used in many manufacturing sectors and now has expanded to home use as well. With many following this trend of convenience and customisation, and with the increasing importance placed on sustaining the environment, the company has come up with this eco-friendly biodegradable filament, in contrast to other filaments that may have negative impacts on the environment.

To go with this and take their commitment to protect the environment further, the company has also designed environmentally friendly spooling and packaging to go along with the filament made of recycled cardboard. The spool has been designed to fit almost every 3D printer available in the market, making it flexible and an easier transition for consumers who wish to go eco-friendly as well.
