Royal Opening For Renishaw Innovation Centre

The recent opening of the Renishaw Innovation Centre was graced by the presence of Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, who officially opened the building and presented the company with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category.

With the new centre, the company has an additional 153,000 sq ft of space for Research & Development, demonstration of equipment, training of staff, and a venue for conferences.

Sir David McMurtry, the company’s chairman and chief executive, said: “The Renishaw Innovation Centre is one of a series of significant investments that we are making to secure our future growth here in the UK, and in our many overseas markets.”

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal has also wished the company well in its ambitions for the new building.
