RS Components Adds FLIR Systems As Distributor

RS Components (RS) has recently announced that it has a new distribution agreement with FLIR Systems so as to provide customers with access to portable thermal imaging instruments that suit testing, troubleshooting and building-maintenance applications.

The instruments include the FLIR E4/E5/E6/E8 and E40/E50/E60 thermal imaging cameras, as well as the newly launched FLIR TG165 imaging IR thermometer and FLIR C2, a compact full-featured thermal camera. A total of 35 new products have been added to the company’s test and measurement portfolio, and also include accessories such as carry cases, tripod adapters, batteries and more.

“The FLIR Systems products value-add to the company’s portfolio, and offers advanced features with affordability for all to use,” said Valerie Ramon, Global Head of Electrical, Test & Measurement, RS Components. “Together with FLIR Systems, we’ve created a unique special offer for the E4-E8 series, and invite customers to take advantage of this great introductory package.”

Thomas J. Scanlon, Vice President, Worldwide Test Equipment Sales, FLIR Systems, added, “With the customer base of RS, the owners of the toolkits we are looking to expand with our new range, we expect this new agreement to increase sales and share in our key target markets.”
