ZEISS Opens New Competence Centre In Thailand

ZEISS has opened a new Compentence Centre in Thailand that serves as a comprehensive technical centre, and equipped with the latest systems and technologies from ZEISS Industrial Metrology and ZEISS Microscopy to be used for measuring services, training courses and demonstrations. The centre is the fourth and latest addition to the company’s centres already established in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

“The opening of the centre in Thailand was a necessity because of the increasing demand for metrology knowledge and expertise know-how in the market. Thailand is the automotive manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia, and its position as a key player will be further strengthened with the economic development of its neighbouring countries and the vision of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015,” said Shaun Lim, Regional Director of ZEISS Industrial Metrology in Southeast Asia.

“We believe that the new centre will be an important partner to the industry to provide reliable and innovative solutions in the fields of industrial metrology, as well as other QA requirements such as imaging, particle analysis and optical roughness measurement,” stated Frankie Lee, Regional Director of ZEISS Microscopy in Southeast Asia.

In today’s fast pace of technology, the ever growing need to achieve customer satisfaction through the latest technologies has been the main priority for the company. With the customer in mind, the organisation strives to further find ways to provide the best service that can be offered to clients, as well as those in need for high quality German technology in Thailand.

Located in Amata Nakorn Industrial Park in Chonburi, Thailand, the new centre offers services that include the use of coordinate measuring machines, sensor technology, metallurgical microscropes and more, training courses, and metrology and microscopy seminars to name a few.
