Increase In Sales For Concept Laser

Lichtenfels, Germany: The additive manufacturing provider Concept Laser attributed the aerospace and medical industry, as well as other sectors with an 88 percent increase in sales for the first half of 2016.

Frank Herzog, president & chief executive officer, said: “The transition to the industrial series production of additively manufactured metal parts is increasingly stimulating our growth.”

The company previously reported an increase in the number of machines sold by 46 percent in 2015, and has announced plans to relocate to a larger working space for logistics, research and development and final assembly by a further 1,100 sq m.
