Boeing Delivers Record Number Of Airplanes

The Boeing Company announced its fourth quarter results on January 7, tallying up 182 deliveries, which took the total number of planes delivered in 2015 to 762.

The biggest seller was once again the 737, which saw 495 units moved the 787 and the 777 shifted 135 and 98 respectively, while the 747 and the 767 sold a combined 34 units.

The figure surpasses the previous record set last year by 39 deliveries. The results also saw the third consecutive year of Boeing setting a new delivery record, previously 723 commercial planes in 2014 and 648 planes in 2013.
