With this acquisition, the company aims to expand its automation offer for composite parts manufacturing, enlarge its range of equipment, and increase its process expertise. On Lund Engineering’s side, the acquisition will help to expand the company’s existing global reach and its field of business.

The equipment ranges of both companies are highly complementary—Fives already offers machine-tools for composite processing, while Lund Engineering designs machines for their customers’ specific use and application.
