Mr Sasson is the current president and chief financial officer (CFO) of the company, and has held both positions from 2009 and 2004 respectively.

IXYS CEO and Founder Dr Nathan Zommer disclosed that Mr Sasson had joined the company in 2004 as a member of the Board of Directors, but had taken a step back from it to take the role of CFO. In his position, he has since managed the company’s operations worldwide, directed financial management, executed merger and acquisitions (M&A), and maintained investor relationships.

“It has been impressive to work with Uzi, as he gained deep knowledge of our business including our marketing strategy and technology roadmaps,” stated Mr Zommer. “I am looking forward to working with Uzi and the rest of our directors at a time when the company is evaluating key strategic initiatives for both its organic and M&A based growth.”
