India Gains New Schaeffler Technology Centre Featured

Schaeffler’s location in Vadodara, India has been awarded the Schaeffler Technology Centre (STC) certificate and is now a part of the corporate Global Technology Network.

This was preceded by a multilevel structured process to verify that the local engineers can demonstrate a defined performance spectrum and are able to implement it in their daily work. Vadodara provides customers in India with comprehensive technical support and speedy advice. Globally, a further 26 STC ensure that customers around the world are able to receive their support as well.

India – a site with a future

The company has been represented on the Indian market for 50 years now, supplying major industrial sectors. The certification to become a STC is another important step taken so that they can meet the growing market requirements in situ and enhance the technological expertise.

At the Vadodara site, experts have shown that they achieve – and in most cases even exceed – the requirements in all fields of the performance spectrum specified for STC. The availability of a high degree of technical expertise and comprehensive rolling bearing knowledge is thus ensured for the entire Indian region.

Another STC was recently opened in Bangkok, Thailand, and there are plans to develop further centres under the umbrella of the Global Technology Network.
