Siemens has acquired a majority stake of 85 percent in UK-based Materials Solutions, which deals with additive manufacturing processing and production.

CADbro supports over 20 major 3D CAD and neutral formats, including the likes of Catia, NX, Creo/ProE, SolidWorks and Parasolid, allowing users to easily access and interact with 3D CAD data without expensive licenses. Additionally, the viewer has also incorporated smart commands to detect open edges and perform quick healing when required.

3D Systems has released the Capture Mini scan-based design and inspection system — a smaller, more accurate version of its previously released Geomagic Capture system.
