Walter: BLAXX For Finishing Operations

  • Thursday, 13 October 2016 02:46

The new XNGX0705ANN-F67 finishing insert has been developed for the Walter BLAXX M3024 heptagon face milling cutter. The large number of cutting edges – 2 + 2 on the finishing inserts and 16 on the roughing inserts – offers cost efficiency.

Applications like semi-finishing and finishing operations can be combined into a single operation using a single tool. The combination of milling cutter and indexable inserts are suited to industrial series production of components such as exhaust turbochargers or turbine blades, or any other components made from stainless steels, cast materials or steel.
