The optimised cutting edge microgeometry ensures improved operational smoothness and a longer tool life. Back cutting prevents whiteness marks from forming on the surface of the workpiece when the tool moves at the cutting depth. The WK40TZ grade is applied in a special coating process, allowing for high abrasion resistance, smooth, homogenous surface layer hardiness and a modulus of elasticity, resulting in a considerably longer tool life.

The combination of both a high-performance coating and a proven geometry makes the MC341 Supreme suited for tasks requiring high cutting speeds when machining large batch sizes.
