Richard Faubert and Barry Harmon will be retiring with effect from the upcoming shareholder meeting to be held this August. Retiring with them would be Jon Tomkins, former chairman of the Board, whose retirement had been announced earlier by the company.
In their most recent announcement, the company also revealed three new director candidates who have been nominated by the Board for election which will take place during the shareholder meeting. They are: John Medica, a former executive of Apple and Dell Computer, and current vice chairman of Compal Electronics; Ray Link, former chief financial officer of FEI company; and Laurence Cramer, president of Continuum Electro-Optics Incorporated, and a laser industry veteran.
“We would like to thank Jon, Richie and Barry for their many contributions to the company which span over 40 years of collective service,” commented Rick Wills, chairman of the company. “We are delighted to invite John, Ray and Larry to join the Board. Their combined experiences are a good match in support of the company’s future direction.”
