The EuroBLECH 2016 “The New Generation of Sheet Metal Working” award winners were announced in Hannover, Germany on Oct 27. They included: Trumpf Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co KG, Schuler AG, WSoptics GmbH, Kemper GmbH and Fraunhofer IPA.

Schuler’s launched it’s “Smart Press Shop” concept at EuroBLECH, demonstrating how networking solutions in forming technology can increase not only process reliability, but also cost-effectiveness in production.

LoadMaster loading systems from Schuler increase the productivity of turning and milling centres by automatically transporting parts to and from the machines.

Stuttgart , Germany: Schuler is supplying its servo press lines and servo tryout presses to Daimler at its Mercedes-Benz sites in Bremen and Sindelfingen. The systems are scheduled to be commissioned at the end of 2018.

The Hydraulic division of Schuler Service has received its third major order within twelve months: the modernization of nine tryout presses for the Toolmaking department of AUDI AG. The lines were supplied in 1998 by press manufacturer Müller Weingarten, which Schuler acquired in 2007.
