Renishaw will be opening a new 133,000 sq ft office and warehouse facility located in West Dundee, Illinois, about 40km from Chicago. Slated to be completed by June 2016, the two-storey facility will be the company’s North American headquarters.
The new building will consolidate the company’s two existing sites, and function for warehousing/distribution, an office for corporate services staff, and also provide space for product demonstration and testing, industry training as well as include conference facilities.
The company aims to use the additional space for an open two-storey exhibit hall for customer tours and product demos, and to accommodate future expansion of the company.
